Consulting, planning, concepts, lectures, research, coaching, the effect of light on people
Melalux develops lighting concepts that do more than simply illuminate spaces; they are designed to shape their atmosphere in a targeted manner. At the heart of this approach lies the interplay of light, colour and surface – forming the basis for holistic, atmospherically precise spatial solutions.
With our CircadiaR approach, we expand lighting design to include the dimension of the circadian rhythm. Light thus becomes an active component of architecture, enhancing well-being, providing orientation and sustainably improving the quality of spaces.
Furthermore, we view spaces as psychologically effective environments. Light and materials can be used strategically to support communication – for example, in demanding conversation scenarios, challenging sales discussions, during the onboarding of new employees, or in learning and training environments. This creates spaces that convey a sense of security, promote concentration and positively influence interaction.
We do not consider light in isolation, but within the context of materials, colours and functions. In doing so, we combine furniture, surfaces and light into a unified whole, and enhance products with a tangible, emotional and functional impact.
As the world of work undergoes transformation, shaped by digitalisation and artificial intelligence, the role of space is changing fundamentally. Future offices and living spaces must do more:
They should foster a sense of identity, put people at the centre, and respond specifically to different uses.
Melalux supports manufacturers, architects and interior designers in unlocking new potential, both in terms of design and in presenting a compelling case. We help not only to develop products and concepts, but also to clearly communicate their added value and open up new fields of application.
As part of the Furniture Club, we bring this perspective to a network that combines design, innovation and quality, with the aim of approaching spaces holistically and with a focus on impact.
Spaces can do more. Much more.
